OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the Innovation Investment Plan “Ensuring Agricultural Production and Ecosystem Services under the lens of Climate Change” are multidimensional and concern the significant development of the agricultural sector in the Plan’s application areas.
DELIVERABLES
The implementation of the project “Ensuring Agricultural Production and Ecosystem Services under the lens of Climate Change” includes the implementation of nine (9) Work Units and nineteen (19) Deliverables, which cover and ensure the achievement of the project’s objectives.
TIPS
The criticality of the implementation of the Innovation Investment Plan “Ensuring Agricultural Production and Ecosystem Services under the lens of Climate Change” is at a very high level of implementation necessity. This necessity arises from the particularly adverse effects of climate change that have been observed in the last decade: (a) on the water resources used for irrigation, (b) on agricultural production, (c) on food production and (d) on the biodiversity of Region of Central Macedonia as well as the entire Greek and Euro-Mediterranean area
